मोक्ष

Ayurveda

At Moksha's Ayurveda booth, you may personalize your Ayurveda experience with an initial consultation with an Ayurvedic Practitioner. In general, a consultation will include an in-depth analysis of your health history and your current health concerns/problems. Ayurvedic diagnostic techniques such as pulse assessment and tongue diagnosis are employed to detect imbalances. An Ayurvedic Practitioner will help to identify your unique body-type (Prakruti) and will offer guidelines to prevent disease processes and imbalances. Knowing and understanding your unique body type is important in understanding what types of foods and lifestyle are balancing and or harmful to your individual constitution. In cases of body-mind imbalance (Vikruti), a treatment intervention including lifestyle and dietary guidelines along with herbs, panchakarma, meditation, and yoga may be advised to help restore balance and support the innate healing and self-repair process in the body.

Reiki
The word "Reiki" comes from two Japanese characters: "Rei," meaning "universal soul," and "Ki," meaning "energy"—thus "universal life force energy." Reiki is a non-invasive healing technique that calms the nervous system and helps to restore balance to the mind, body and spirit. The healing energy of Reiki brings deep relaxation and revitalization. Reiki is both restorative and preventative. It gently encourages a person’s system towards its own unique alignment. Reiki can be of real benefit to almost anyone, whether healthy and wanting to stay that way, or in addressing a specific health concern or life issue/situation. Reiki can be utilized alongside both conventional and alternative medicine and therapies, to promote quicker and more effective healing and help bring relief from pain. Thea Parsons will offer Reiki at Moksha. Thea is the founder of The Reiki Training Institute based in Los Angeles.

Pranic Healing

Pranic Healing® is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine developed by GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui that utilizes prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health. In acupuncture, the Chinese refer to this subtle energy as Chi. It is also called Ruach or the Breath of Life in Hebrew. Pranic Healing® is a simple yet powerful & effective system of no-touch energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air and ground to address physical & emotional imbalances. Master Choa Kok Sui says "Life Energy or prana is all around us. It is pervasive; we are actually in an ocean of Life Energy. Based on this principle, a healer can draw in Pranic Energy or Life Energy from the surroundings."
